Fastest way to get help

Use the report a bug form on this site. It writes into the same queue the app uses, and it is the quickest route to the developer who wrote the code. Before you write, open Settings → Spider SEO Pro (or press the Pro button in the toolbar): that window shows the edition, the app version and whether the crawl limit was the reason something stopped.

Add an email address in the optional field if you want an answer; a report without one is still useful, but we cannot reply to it.

What to write down

• What you expected and what happened instead, with the URL you were crawling.
• The app version and channel, shown in the About window, and the macOS version.
• Whether it happens on every run or only on one site, and roughly when it started.
• For a crash, the report macOS writes in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports, or the matching entry in Console.app.
• For a purchase or subscription question, your App Store order reference. Never send a card number or a password.

Billing, refunds and the App Store

Purchases, invoices, price changes, refunds and cancellation of the Pro subscription are handled by Apple through your Apple ID: report a problem at reportaproblem.apple.com and manage the renewal with Manage Subscription… in Settings → Spider SEO Pro. We cannot charge or refund your card, and we cannot see your payment details.

If Pro is not switching on after a purchase, quit and reopen the app so it can read the receipt, then press Restore Purchases in the same window. If it still does not unlock, send a report and say which Apple ID storefront you bought from.

Email and response times

[email protected] for anything: bugs, feature requests, privacy requests, licensing questions. Answers usually take two to five working days, longer when the fix needs a new build through App Store review.

Privacy and data-deletion requests are answered within thirty days as described in the privacy policy.
